Who We Are

Adopt A Generation Africa (AGA) is an Empowerment, Research and Training Public Benefits Organization (PBO) registered in Kenya and established in 2020.

• The formation of Adopt A Generation Africa was inspired by the unique challenges facing humanity, especially children, in the 21st century.

• At Adopt A Generation Africa, we believe that challenges facing communities can be overcome by joint efforts of the people in searching and crafting solutions among themselves. Our interventional approach is unique in that instead of offering temporary solutions, we invest in sustainable and long-term solutions to challenges facing the communities.

• Adopt A Generation Africa believes in the power of communities being at the center of every project aimed at offering solutions to various challenges facing them. We acknowledge that the people at the grassroots level understand many issues affecting them and therefore collaborating with them in project design and implementation is an effective approach to communities’ empowerment.

• We offer tools for fishing rather than fish itself, our current focus is on Western Kenya Counties of Busia, Kakamega, Siaya and Bungoma.

• Our thematic areas are Nutrition and Food Systems, Maternal and Child Health, (MCH) Environment and Climate, Sports, Arts & Culture.
